A popular webinar solution is gotowebinar. The problem is, if you’ve ever tried to use it with Keynote, you can have some problems such as a blank screen for all your attendees. Not good and I have seen this happen before!
The problem is that Keynote is a great tool but Gotowebinar is designed for Powerpoint really. So, you need to make a slight change in your settings to get keynote to work in your webinars and this has made life a lot simpler!

This strategy alone is just a small (but vital) piece of the puzzle. You should be doing this every single time you create a video as it really will make a dramatic difference to the amount of exposure you get – we are talking about views, rankings and qualified traffic.

You see, traffic from video is the best sort of traffic. Period.

First off, it’s much easier to rank for video than anything else. Whilst the Forrester report from 2008 is really outdated, they stated that you are 53 times more like to rank on the first page of Google than for any other type of media or website. 3 years is a very long time when it comes to video as things are changing daily but it’s still much easier to rank for video and tap into a huge volume of qualified traffic when you know what you are doing.

And that’s what needs to be stated. It’s not just any traffic, it’s QUALIFIED traffic. The people that make the decision to leave YouTube and come to your website are people that have already seen your stuff & got to know, like and trust you. They are coming to your website with the intent of finding out more. These people are much easier to convert with a simple opt-in box and you’ll see you conversion rates of traffic to sign ups go through the roof.

And of course, with 3 billion people watching videos on YouTube every single day, you can pick up the right sort of traffic easily and for FREE. We sometimes forget how easy this internet thing has become.

A few years back I was spending over £150 per day on Google Adwords to get traffic to my site. And it worked very well. My conversion rates were at around 37% and this meant over a third of people that visited my site signed up to find out more. Then Adwords became competitive, expensive and I got the dreaded “Google Slap” – they closed my account suddenly as they didn’t approve of my opt-in page.

Luckily for me, I had predicted this might happen and I decided to look into other ways to drive traffic and YouTube has always been the most profitable hands down (mainly because everyone else has no clue about what they are doing!).

I have recently teamed up with Andy Frain, a video ranking expert and it is no exaggeration when I say that he is one of the best in the world. Not only does he work with some household names, he has also been teaching me some of the stuff he knows and it has been blowing my mind.

The great news for you is that you can also learn all of these secrets at our upcoming 3-day retreat. We will be GUARANTEEING that once you’ve implemented the simple steps we’ve taught you, you’ll get your video on the front page of Google and the top of YouTube. And we are not talking about a strange keyword phrase such as “House Painter in Eastbourne on Weekends”… you will be able to choose your profitable and very competitive keywords that will get you a constant avalanche of traffic. We’ll show you step-by-step how we our clients on the front page of Google and YouTube for very competitive terms and all you need to do is copy our system. We’ll help you select these keywords and even give you cheat sheets.

Hey guys,

1 idea and 1 announcement.

The idea? Well, I am thinking of doing some livestreaming sessions where we get to connect and get to know each other in a casual environment. I’ll be grabbing a beer and a pizza (I encourage you to do the same!), and we chat about video marketing. You can ask any questions, I’ll give you expert advice, we can review some of your videos and also from time to time I’ll invite guest experts to join in. I’ll be doing them from different locations each time too! I’m excited, I hope you are too!

What I need is your advice on a name (will “Breezy’s Beer & Pizza Club” work?), plus also anything you’d like to see, content you’d like covered and questions you’d like answered. Comments below please guys!

The announcement? I know I’ve been pretty “hush hush” on the 3-day workshop but I will be revealing all very soon. All I can say is block out the 18-20th November. You will not want to miss this event. It will be incredible and we will be going all out – we will be giving you information that very few people know. Information that if you use, you will get to the top of Google and YouTube with your videos – beating the competition. Book out the 3 days. Do it now.

If you want to be first on the list to know about the upcoming event, then fill in your email below and you will be notified first.

Okay, just the other day I added a video on how to get a load more views on youtube using the “Click To Tweet” software that can help get exposure from your videos. Now it’s a taken that the quality of content and optimisation needs to be there, but if you make it easy to share your videos all the better.

Well, after just 2 days, we had over 18 of you guys tweet the video out and this meant that potentially over 150,000 people could have seen the video I created. Pretty awesome after just 2 days.

This is a strategy I’d encourage you to test as I have a feeling that this is going to be pretty big. Now, I am not a tweetaholic, but I’m sure this is just the start. If you love twitter and have more advice, let me know how we can take this to another level guys. Your comments below would be much appreciated.

Hey team, this was probably the most difficult video I have had to create, but I knew it would be and it’s good to be back on track. August was personally a very tough month and thank you for your kind words, support & understanding during this period.

So, I’ve got some important advice for you regarding your videos and getting to the top of Google and YouTube. This one tip alone is not being used by hardly any youtubers and as a result you can leap-frog your competition and get much more exposure. More views, more website visitors, more traffic, more chance of building your tribe and making sales.

Because, the truth is, it’s not all about the videos you optimise – it’s also your CHANNEL. Get your channel into shape and you’ll see a dramatic improvement in all your video rankings.

Remember, all ships rise with the tide.

Hey, I’d love your feedback, your comments, likes, tweets, etc as it’s all about community and relationships. Let me know!

Cheers,

Tom.

In this video I have a chat with Rob Hargreaves, who is a whizzkid when it comes to the techie side of video, both for PC’s and Macs.

Inside the Video Marketing Blueprint there is obviously a ton of information about presenting on camera, filming, editing, studio set up, traffic, conversion and sales. But… I have had a load of people asking me questions about file size, compression, editing on a PC, editing on a Mac and so on.

Now, truth be told, I’m good at editing but not the best – especially when it comes to PC work. So, Rob is coming on board the team and will be adding more videos to the Video Marketing Blueprint course so you can benefit from his expertise.

So in this video, we chat about video quality, the future of video marketing, how the good guys win with video, a bit about equipment and give you more of an intro to Rob. So watch the video and keep the comments coming!

Cheers,

Tom
